Work Permit
The issuance of a work permit requires the application of both the employer and the worker. To receive a work permit, the following steps must be completed:
- Step 1: The employer must apply for and provide a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
- Step 2: The employer must provide a temporary job offer.
- Step 3: The foreign worker must then apply for a work permit.
- Step 4: Only after a work permit has been issued can a foreign worker proceed with employment.
